Okay...so I am going to ask a general question and even though my journals don't get much response...I'll try any how.

Here is the thing, I'm going to a new art school to finish up my animation degree, but I need as much cash as I can get my hands on and my job just wont cut it. So I'm sitting here, thinking and plotting on ways to get more money. Now, I highly doubt robbing a bank would be very beneficial to my future in art. So I am asking all of you who are reading this...would you be interested in buying commissions off of me?

First, I understand that my work isn't top rate - so I wouldn't be charging top rate prices. Like any where from 5 - 10 bucks, depending on what you want done. I have no idea on what the options will be. I wanted to see if anyone would be interested before I even started thinking about something like this. So many talented artist out there doing commissions and it's hard to hold a flame up against their talent. But if you like what I do and you see something I've done, but want something that is more to your own standards, we could work something out.

Now, my only limitations would be no porno. Yes, I know, yaoi is hot...but it just isn't my thing. I can do group pictures (4 or more people) but I think I would have to charge more for that, yes? Well, like I said, I'm not to positive on the whole logistics of it. Well, let me know what you honestly think. I need all the help I can get for school and if I can make an extra 5 bucks here and there because we share a common interest, then so be it. D

I have been on Deviantart for about 3 years now and just now have I reached 50 deviations... This is a sad, and pathetic realization. Especially since I'm in school to become an animator...Know what animators do for a living? DRAW thousands upon thousands of drawings PER DAY.

I do believe I have gotten my spark back though. So I hope that I will be able to draw with a fierce passion. Or at least until I start my new job next week ;_;. But I'm heading back into school during fall so hopefully that will inspire me to draw more as well. The more I draw the better I become right?

I do believe I am starting to understand how to do things that I haven't before. Like shading, hands, frontal facial expressions, hair and what not. Hands are easier to draw as well getting the right proportions down for the human body. HOWEVER I'm still having a lot of trouble with the male torso and some other aspects of the male body >.>. Oh well, practice makes perfect. Or at least better lol.

I want to take this moment to extend a thank you to everyone who watches me and comments on my pictures. It's such a great support to know that I don't suck at something I love and that other people can find some sort of amusement out of them as well. If I do anything else while I draw, I will get sidetrack and I will never draw...Believe me, I'm a one track mind. I like to listen to music though, or if I'm leveling up in a game, I'll doodle.

He..he..he...uh...1? 1 if I'm lucky? Mayyybbeee 2 if I'm feeling adventurious.

Anything I can get my hands on. Yes, that means skin as well.

1-2 hours, that goes for the computer as well. Depends on what type of inking I'm going for as well ^^

I try...fail, but I will still try.

Well, yea, duh. I'd kill to half the skill of anyone I watch.

Yea ;_; I usually finish a book within a few days and I dwell on the book for another week, pick up another and the process begins again. I'm currently on a vampire fix. Reading Vampire Academy (which I still haven't made an opinion on...and I'm on the second book) and Sunshine (which is freaking funny as hell). Tried to get into the brotherhood of blood but...yea, to much graphic sex scenes in that one for my personal taste.

26. Did you ever buy a book to inspire or teach you to draw?
I've bought one on how to draw realisim and anime guys. The realisim one is a good book, tought me alot about porportion and whatnot...the anime guys one taught me not.

Seriously? Do I draw seriously now? o.O What exactly do you mean by seriously? If you mean by thinking of drawing as a hobby/passion, then probably back in 5th grade. If you mean drawing seriously as in what I take it as? I have yet to take it seriously then ^^

54. Do you use references? If so, for what?
Usually for poses. I tend to be inspired by another piece of art and I tend to warp it in my head and change it to what I see. Like, if I see a picture of a girl in a magazine and she's wearing some really weird piece of clothing, I'll draw it as a monster or as a creature because thats what I saw when looking at the picture. *shrugs*

62. Does your mind wander when you draw?
Don't really know...probably. I tend to space out when I draw and when i come back, I have something on the paper...

63. Have you drawn poorly because you think too much?
Ugh...ya know. Ask anyone who knows me and they will tell you my opinion about my art. I tend to think everything I draw is poor, if I think to much or not.

Hm...Yes. I have quite a few people going into the animation buisness as well as the illustration buisness. Does graphic design count?

Dont care much for the whole red dot on a white page thing...

67. Are there any situations in which you really don't like being an Artist?
I dont like the sterotype the people tend to have when dealing with artist. Such as "the starving artist" if you decide to make it your career. Or people who think you cant turn your hobby into a job. When I tell people I'm going into animation, they stare at me like "Thats an actual career path...?"

68. How about situations that make you love it?
I love being able to create stuff. Characters that become a part of me, stories that can be developed around my characters...It's like creating a whole new world and being part of it. I love to sit down and just desing character after character and give them little stories, personalities and whatnot. It's the best feeling in the world to get what you see in your head exactly onto paper...It's like you're looking down at an old friend.

69. What's one thing that makes you grateful that the internet exists?
Video games...? =3 Being able to meet people you would have never of met before. It's great to talk to someone in London or Japan.

70. Is there anything out there that makes you wish the internet didn't exist?
The fact that the internet has no law. You can find or be anything you want.

A little castle with a pond out front with little duckies. My mom showed me it the other day, I completely forgot about it lmao.

Isadora Legata ^^. It's kind of a rival/love thing going on. I wouldn't really say rival...but its like, I see her doing so well so it inspires me to try to pick up the pencil again and keep drawing. We pretty much started drawing together when we were obssessed with Sailor Moon. Lots of fond memories. It's nice to look at her page and see that some things never change, that we'll probably be drawing sailor moon when we're old withered ladies.

79. What made you want to start drawing?
I always drew. My mom put me in art class so that I could get better at it lol.

81. Has anything ever made you want to quit art all together?
Yes...I don't think I'm good enough to draw. So I tend to stop for long periods of time, but then something will happen and I'll draw something, then stop again haha.

anyways. i entered this contest for a game called flyff. its blogging. i know huh, how creative. basically you blog about your more favorite memory concerning the game. i was like, dude! I could totally do that! but yea, it didn't turn out that great but you know what?! i simply do not care. i am far past the point of caring right now. why you ask? or even if you didn't ask, i'm gonna tell you...because life is entirely unfair.

well, not entirely. but this really wouldn't be considered a ranting blog if i didn't rant any. but yea, i am alive. and some day i will post new art... *glares at Izzy before she can say anything* But yes, someday soon I will upload more art.
